How to manage an XRPL liquidity position in the Ondex app

Manage supported XRPL liquidity positions in the Ondex mobile app. You do not connect a wallet to this marketing website. Pool data, swaps using AMM liquidity, and depositing as a liquidity provider are separate actions.

  1. Open the app’s Yield area and browse Pools. Select a pool, confirm both assets and issuers, and inspect its trading fee, liquidity and available data.
  2. Choose Add Liquidity and enter the supported deposit amounts. Review the assets, LP-token estimate, amount bounds, reserve changes and network fee before signing on your device.
  3. Return to My Positions to find your LP holding and open its pool details. Choose Remove Liquidity, inspect the withdrawal mode, assets received, trustline capacity, bounds and fee, then authorize and check the result.

What an XRPL AMM pool is

An XRP Ledger automated market maker holds two assets in a ledger-native pool and prices trades using its protocol rules. Liquidity providers receive LP tokens representing a proportional position. The pool is not a savings account, and the displayed pair must still be understood as exact native or currency-and-issuer identities.

AMMs coexist with the XRPL order-book DEX. The ledger can combine available liquidity when processing some payments and trades, so an AMM-aware route is not the same thing as manually depositing into a pool.

Trade through AMM-aware routes

Ondex can compare an AMM estimate with supported order-book and path alternatives for a swap. The preview includes estimated output and price impact, while the prepared transaction carries the applicable spend and receive constraints.

Pool composition and competing transactions can change between quote and validation. The route display is an estimate; validated ledger metadata is the authoritative record of what executed.

Provide or remove liquidity

Ondex exposes supported add and remove liquidity screens separately from trading. The review identifies the pool assets, deposit or withdrawal constraints, LP-token effect, network fee and any issued-asset receive preparation before local signing.

Dual-asset and single-asset operations have different formulas and bounds. Some previews remain estimates because the matching XRPL transaction mode exposes caps rather than a simple minimum LP-token field. Read the transaction review rather than treating the preview as a guaranteed settlement amount.

Pool data is not a guarantee

TVL, volume, trading fee and estimated APY describe current or historical data from the ledger and supported indexers. They do not guarantee future returns, future liquidity or the fiat value of a position. When trusted yield data is unavailable, Ondex leaves the value blank rather than inventing it.

Position P&L can include metadata-backed and estimated cost-basis events. Ondex labels estimates and only enables fiat views when the required valuation inputs are trusted.

AMM risks

Liquidity providers are exposed to changing relative asset prices, pool composition and impermanent-loss economics, as well as issuer risk for issued assets. A low displayed fee or high historical APY does not remove those risks.

Swappers face liquidity, slippage and asset-identity risk. Liquidity providers also authorize irreversible deposit and withdrawal transactions. Verify both assets, issuer controls, amount bounds, LP-token balance and fee before signing.

Frequently asked questions

No. An AMM is a two-asset liquidity pool. Order books contain offers. XRP Ledger can use both types of liquidity.
