Ondex · XRP Ledger guide
Review an XRP swap before you sign
Select XRP and a supported XRP Ledger asset, compare the current quote, inspect minimum received and fees, and approve only after the route is clear.
Available on iPhone and Android. Last reviewed .

Start with the exact asset pair
A swap involving native XRP has one side with no issuer. The other side may be an issued XRPL asset identified by currency and issuer. Confirm the direction—what you pay and what you receive—before entering an amount, especially when two issued assets share a display symbol.
Ondex excludes unsupported or unsafe asset states from execution, but a wallet cannot decide whether an asset is economically suitable for you. Issuer identity, transfer conditions and liquidity remain part of your review.
Read the quote, not only the headline rate
The useful fields are the source amount, estimated output, minimum received, price impact, tolerance, network fee and quote freshness. Minimum received is a transaction boundary for supported exact-input flows; it is not a promise that the headline estimate will arrive unchanged.
A quote can expire or become stale as ledger liquidity changes. If Ondex refreshes the quote, review the replacement rather than assuming the previous numbers still apply.
How Smart Routing compares current options
Ondex compares supported atomic strategies across the order book, AMM liquidity and validated XRPL paths. The selected quote is bound to the reviewed pair, amount, network, ledger and expiry so a different economic intent cannot be substituted during signing.
This is route comparison, not guaranteed best price. A preview venue can differ from the liquidity reflected in validated metadata, and a currently unavailable path can become available—or disappear—on a later ledger.
Review and sign on device
Before authentication, Ondex prepares the exact transaction and checks source balance, reserve, destination receive capacity and fees. When a destination trustline needs creation or restoration, that preparation is shown and completed before the swap is requoted and signed.
The signed transaction includes ledger-bound expiry and amount constraints for the selected flow. Submission recovery rebroadcasts the same signed blob when appropriate rather than creating a second trade with a new hash.
When a swap may not be available
A pair may have too little liquidity, the amount may be below ledger precision, the issuer may require authorization or freeze transfers, the destination trustline may be absent or full, or the active network may not expose the feature. Ondex fails before signing when required safety checks cannot establish a valid transaction.
A validated swap is not reversible. If you selected the wrong asset, issuer or direction, a new transaction would be required and market conditions may differ.
