Data and methodology
Token identity and on-ledger metrics come from XRPL Meta and XRPL.to. XRP market data uses CoinGecko, with the validated DIA PriceOracle and Coinbase as fallbacks. Issued-token charts use public OnTheDEX or Sologenic XRP pairs, converted through the disclosed XRP/USD reference and then into the display currency selected by the visitor. The validated DIA XRP/USD PriceOracle on XRPL is an additional current-price fallback. Issued-token charts keep their underlying XRP series and may display a disclosed USD conversion.

What is XRP Ledger?
The XRP Ledger (XRPL) is a public, decentralized blockchain for recording transactions and issuing or exchanging digital assets. XRP is its native asset and is used for transaction fees and account reserves.
Is XRP Ledger the same as XRP?
No. XRP Ledger is the network; XRP is the network's native digital asset. A person can use XRPL features, including issued tokens and its built-in DEX, while still distinguishing the technology from the asset.
How do you access and use XRP Ledger?
Use a compatible wallet such as Ondex to create or import an XRPL account, keep the recovery secret offline, fund the account reserve, and review every transaction before signing. Public explorers and developer APIs can provide read-only access without a wallet.
Can you buy or invest in XRP Ledger?
You cannot buy the ledger itself. People may acquire XRP or specific issued tokens through eligible providers or XRPL markets, but each asset has different issuers, liquidity, rights, and risks; market pages are information, not a recommendation.
What coins and tokens are on XRP Ledger?
XRPL supports native XRP, issuer-backed fungible tokens such as RLUSD, tokenized assets, multipurpose tokens, and NFTs. An issued asset is identified by both its currency code and issuer, not by the ticker alone.
Can Bitcoin run on XRP Ledger?
The Bitcoin network does not run on XRPL. An issuer can represent BTC as an issued token on XRPL, or a bridge can connect assets across networks, but that representation carries issuer or bridge risk and is not native Bitcoin.
Is RLUSD on XRP Ledger?
Yes. Ripple USD uses XRPL's issued-token functionality and is available on XRP Ledger Mainnet. Holding it requires a trust line to the official issuer, so the issuer address must be verified rather than relying on the RLUSD symbol alone.
Is XLM on XRP Ledger?
XLM is native to the Stellar network, not XRP Ledger. A third party could issue a token that represents XLM on XRPL, but it would be an issuer-backed representation with separate risks.
Is there a private XRP Ledger?
XRPL Mainnet is public and permissionless. Separate sidechains can be designed as permissioned or private networks, but they are independent ledgers with their own validators and rules, not a hidden version of Mainnet.
Is XRP Ledger shutting down?
XRPL Mainnet is a decentralized network operated by independent servers and validators; it does not have a single shutdown switch. Network health should be checked through current validator, ledger, and status data rather than social-media claims.
Will XRP Ledger or XRP go up?
No one can reliably predict the future value of XRP or activity on XRPL. Price and usage depend on market demand, liquidity, technology, regulation, and many other factors; historical data is not a guarantee.
