Standalone browser vault
A standalone extension wallet signs locally. The encrypted vault is tied to the browser profile and extension storage, not to iOS Keychain, Android Keystore, Tangem NFC, or a custodial Ondex server.
Browser extension
The Ondex browser extension is a self-custodial wallet surface for desktop browser workflows. It can run as a local browser vault or pair with Ondex mobile for approvals, depending on the mode enabled in the extension build.
Public release remains gated by the exact production-candidate approval and browser-store review. Firefox and Safari remain outside the Chrome V1 claim. Do not treat a test build, unpacked build, or staging channel as a public store release.

Verify your wallet backup before funding a browser vault. Removing the extension, clearing browser data, deleting a profile, or losing every backup copy can make a self-custodial wallet unrecoverable.
Pairing with Ondex mobile is designed to let the phone review and approve sensitive requests. Pairing codes and request relays should be treated as temporary approval channels, not as wallet backups.
Approve only requests from origins you trust. Review destination, amount, currency, issuer, fee, memo, account settings, and submit=false signed-blob warnings before signing.
The extension may process wallet addresses, selected accounts, dApp origin metadata, transaction IDs, pairing state, diagnostics, and analytics events needed for support and product safety. Wallet seeds and private keys must stay client-side.
Chrome V1 availability is limited to reviewed build surfaces. Ramp depends on provider, country, network, and product eligibility checks; Social and Messages depend on wallet unlock state, Ondex Name, messaging keys, and configured feature gates. Bridge and FXRP are visible for mainnet QA, but remain outside the public support claim until real-wallet and provider transaction review is complete.
Tangem NFC, bulk signing, generic EVM wallet behavior, and unreviewed browser targets are outside the V1 extension support claim until dedicated QA and product decisions exist.
Use in-app support for wallet-scoped issues where available, or contact Ondex support without sending secrets. Include the browser, extension version, mode, network, and the exact error or request ID.
