What should I know before configuring MultiSign?

XRPL MultiSign lets an account require a weighted quorum of approved signer accounts. It is an account-level authorization change, not a contact list or a cloud backup feature.

Confirm every signer address, weight, and the quorum outside the app before submitting. Make sure the required signers control working backups and can coordinate the supported envelope flow.

Do not change a signer list as an experiment on an account holding important funds. Ondex cannot override the ledger configuration or recover unavailable signer keys.
