What should I know before using the browser extension?
The extension is self-custodial, but browser storage has different risk boundaries than mobile secure storage.
The Ondex browser extension can run as a standalone local vault or pair with Ondex mobile for approvals, depending on the build and mode enabled.
A browser vault is tied to browser profile and extension storage. Verify your wallet backup before funding it, and do not treat browser storage as iOS Keychain, Android Keystore, Tangem NFC, or custody by Ondex.
Public extension release remains gated by browser-store review, cross-browser QA, security acceptance, legal/compliance review, and support readiness.
Ondex support will never ask for your recovery phrase, private key, PIN, or backup password.
